Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Ank Parichay collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Free calculator: the date of birth and name you type are calculated in your browser. They are not sent to us or stored.
- Orders: full name, date of birth, report language, WhatsApp number, optional email, and any extra details you choose to give (a mobile or vehicle number to check, a partner's name and date of birth).
- Payments: we see the payment confirmation from your UPI app (amount, reference). We never see or store your bank or card details.
Why we use it
Only to prepare your report, send it to you, answer your questions about it, and keep records required by law. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Consent
We process order data on the basis of the consent you give on the order form. If you add a partner's or family member's details, please make sure they agree. You can withdraw consent at any time by messaging us; we will then stop processing and delete your data, except records we must keep by law.
Who else handles it
Our website host (Netlify) stores order form submissions. WhatsApp and email providers carry our messages to you. Payments go through your UPI app and bank.
Google Fonts: our pages load their text fonts from Google Fonts. When a page opens, your browser contacts Google's servers to fetch the fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details. No name, date of birth or order detail is sent. We do not run advertising or analytics tags on these pages today; if that changes, this policy will be updated before it does.
How long we keep it
Order details and the report are kept for 1 year after delivery so we can re-send or correct a report, then deleted. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or raise a complaint. Message us on WhatsApp (contact below); we reply within 7 days and resolve within 30 days. When you ask us to delete your data, we remove your order from Netlify's form storage and from our own files within 30 days, except records we must keep by law. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Orders must be placed by an adult. A report about a minor (for example, for a name) can be ordered only by a parent or guardian.
